It’s all in the details – if the artist is in your metadata AND your artwork, you’re all good.
If you’ve credited an artist in your artwork for your RouteNote release, they’ve got to be somewhere in your release metadata as well. This doesn’t work the other way around; artists in your metadata don’t need to be in your artwork.
The idea is that if your artwork shows that a certain artist is on your release, but the metadata says that they aren’t, then the artwork could be considered to be misleading.
