A medley is where you’ve taken existing songs and performed them consecutively, linked together, on one track. Here’s how they should be formatted…
When uploading a medley track through RouteNote, there are a few formatting requirements you’ll need to follow in order to comply with our partner stores’ guidelines.
We need to be sure the listeners know what tracks are in the medley, so each song needs to be listed and separated by a forward slash.
Either one of these formats are accepted by stores:
Medley: Song title 1 / Song title 2 / Song title 3
Song title 1 / Song title 2 / Song title 3 (Medley)
So for example:
Primary artist: Funky JJ
Incorrect track title: Ed Sheeran Medley
Primary artist: Funky JJ
Correct track title: Shape Of You / Perfect / Happier (Medley)
