Here’s the definition to help with your composition.
A composer is a person who writes music.
The composer role can be used for someone who’s also playing on the track, but it’s more often used for crediting a composer who isn’t performing on the release; e.g. someone has written a musical that’s being performed by other performers.
Please note – the composer role must also be used if your release contains classical music.
